Kari was an absolute dream bride. Her laid back, go with the flow, welcoming attitude was such a joy. The morning was relaxed and fun as I styled Kari and her sister Lisa. Her daughter McKinley was there too and it was so sweet to see the tender connection between Kari and her daughter. Getting ready time is one of my favorite parts of the day. It’s the time where the bride and her family and friends get to sit back and relax and enjoy these moments before the hustle and bustle of the day begins.

Kari wanted to blow away her fiance, Andrew as she walked down the aisle. She mentioned how she didn’t normally wear a lot of makeup, but wanted the full treatment for her big day. She wanted to look like a Queen and she totally rocked it!

Favorite story from the day: I also get together with my brides prior to the wedding day to do a preview session so that they can see how they will look the day of. For Kari I went to her home in Dublin. When her fiancee Andrew came home he literally stopped dead in his tracks when he saw her. He was truly speechless. I usually miss the groom’s reaction on the wedding day, so this was so sweet to see.
